So this new blog will be anything scrapbook or papercraft related, just as my other one was. I hope to be a much more consistent blogger now. I enjoy sharing tips and techniques, as well as hearing what other people are doing in their crafting. So be sure to leave me your comments!

The artwork on display at our convention was incredible! I was so inspired by the things I saw. Here are just a couple of beautiful pieces that I plan to imitate. These were created by Bren Yule, a fellow consultant who taught us a class on making these flowers.

I made this cute mini-album with the Passages paper pack and stickease from Close to My Heart. The All-Sorts album starts out as a blank chipboard album and you can decorate any way you like. I chose to cover my pages with paper, but the chipboard is white already, so it is very easy to also stamp, sponge, or paint on any design you fancy. This workshop cost $20 for supplies and makes a great gift album for anyone.

Random stamp a pattern in light to medium colors. Heat set with heat gun. Stamp a solid image over your random-stamped paper with Versamark or other clear embossing pad. Cover with clear embossing powder, tap off, and heat set. Ink brayer in a dark color ink, roll over embossed paper, and repeat until desired intensity is reached. Wipe off embossed images to remove excess ink. Add piece to project.
